Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking an experienced Commercial Cleaner for a site in Tranent. The role offers 30 hours per week with fixed weekday shifts: Mon-Thu 16:00–22:00 and Fri 12:30–18:30, finishing Friday at 18:30.

There is a direct temp-to-perm transition after 12 weeks, with full on-site training and upskilling provided.

Qualifications

• Proven commercial cleaning experience.
• PVG membership or eligibility to pass a PVG check.
• Reliable, self-motivated and able to work unsupervised.

Duties

General cleaning across the grounds (classrooms, hallways, offices).

Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, wiping down desks, and sanitising toilets.

Managing waste and maintaining strict health and hygiene standards.

Requirements

Proven commercial or facilities cleaning experience.

Active PVG membership or eligibility to pass a PVG check (Scottish background check).

Reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable working unsupervised.

Pay

Up to £12.71/hr PAYE.

Progression

Permanent contract pathway after 12 weeks + full on-site training.

Schedule

Fixed weekday shifts with an early 18:30 finish on Fridays.
