Job summary

Labman HQ in Stokesley, North Yorkshire, is hiring a part-time Cleaner for 20 hours per week (6am–10am). This role covers daily cleaning across offices, kitchens and shared spaces to maintain a safe and welcoming environment.

You will follow health and safety guidelines, replenish supplies, and support the wider facilities team to uphold Labman’s high standards and reputation.

• Report maintenance issues or hazards promptly to facilities team.
• Support wider facilities team to ensure a welcoming environment.
• Keep records of cleaning activities as required for audits.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a reliable and conscientious Cleaner to help maintain the cleanliness and presentation of Labman's facilities. In this important role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day cleaning and upkeep of our workplace environment, ensuring that all areas remain safe, hygienic, and welcoming for staff and visitors.

You will take pride in maintaining high standards across our buildings, supporting Labman's commitment to excellence and providing a clean, comfortable setting that reflects our values and reputation.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out daily cleaning tasks to maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout all areas of Labman's HQ, including offices, communal spaces, toilets, and kitchens.
• Ensure all cleaning duties are completed efficiently and in accordance with established health and safety guidelines.
• Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet rolls as needed.
• Safely handle and store cleaning chemicals and equipment, following company procedures at all times.
• Report any maintenance issues, hazards, or damage to the appropriate personnel promptly.
• Support the wider facilities team when required, contributing to a welcoming and safe environment for staff and visitors.
• Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities as required for audits and compliance.
• Confidentiality must be upheld at all times to protect sensitive information, reflecting Labman's commitment to professionalism and trustworthiness.
