Job summary

Vertas is seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our Facilities Team at Hobart High School, Norwich. This role is 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 3:30pm to 7:30pm, spanning 44 weeks per year.

You will perform cleaning across classrooms and communal areas, maintain hygiene standards, and contribute to a safe, welcoming school environment. The ideal candidate has a passion for cleanliness, can work independently or as part of a team, and communicates effectively with staff and students.

About the Role

Based in at Hobart High School, Norwich, NR14 6JU, you will be working 20 hours a week, Mon - Fri 3.30pm - 7.30pm, 44 weeks per year.

• Cleaning toilets and washrooms
• Wiping down tables and surfaces
• General cleaning duties across classrooms and communal areas
• Hoovering and mopping floors
• Ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained

Who are we looking for?

• Previous cleaning experience in clean room is desirable but not essential
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Great communication skills and experience in similar cleaning setting
