Job summary

Vertas is seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our Facilities Team at All Saints Catholic Academy, NG19 6BW. This role is 10 hours per week, with shifts 6:00am–8:00am and 3:15pm–5:15pm, for 42 weeks per year, helping maintain high cleanliness standards that delight our customers.

You will perform cleaning across toilets, classrooms and communal areas, ensuring hygiene and safety, while following all health and safety procedures and delivering reliable service.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Great communication skills and experience in a similar cleaning setting.

About the Role

Based at All Saints Catholic Academy, NG19 6BW, you will be working 10 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 8:00am and 3:15pm to 5:15pm, 42 weeks per year. You'll play a key role in maintaining cleanliness to a high standard that meets our standards and delights our customers.

Your responsibilities will include

• Cleaning toilets and washrooms
• Wiping down tables and surfaces
• General cleaning duties across classrooms and communal areas
• Hoovering and mopping floors
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
• Ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained
• Following Health and Safety procedures at all times
