Job summary

Vertas is seeking a Mobile Cleaner based in the Buxton & Glossop area, covering eight sites, working 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Shifts vary between 7:00am and 7:00pm, for example 7:30am–9:00am and 3:30pm–5:00pm.

You will maintain high cleanliness standards across sites, ensuring spaces are clean, safe and welcoming for customers, with a mobile role requiring your own vehicle and valid driving licence.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Enhanced DBS check is required – if you do not currently hold one, you must be willing to obtain it.
• Great communication skills and experience in a similar cleaning setting.
• A team player providing an excellent service across the Vertas Group.
• The ability to make the best decisions with Vertas in mind.

About the Role

Based in the Buxton & Glossop area, covering approximately eight sites, you will be working 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Shifts are variable between 7:00am and 7:00pm, for example 7:30am‑9:00am and 3:30pm‑5:00pm. You will play a key role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, helping to ensure every site is clean, safe, and welcoming—a consistent meeting of expectations and a great experience for our customers. As this is a mobile role covering multiple sites, you will need your own vehicle and a valid driving licence to be considered.

Your responsibilities will include

• Cleaning toilets and washrooms
