Schools’ Choice is seeking a dedicated Cleaner for the Facilities Team based at National CE Primary School, Hucknall. The role involves working Monday to Friday, covering 10 hours weekly, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness in toilets, classrooms, and communal areas.

The ideal candidate will bring a passion for cleanliness, strong communication skills, and a willingness to provide excellent service across the team. Previous cleaning experience is preferred, but not necessary, and you must be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check.

About the Role

Based at National CE Primary School, NG15 7DU, you will be working Monday to Friday, 3.30pm to 5.45pm, 10 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. You'll play a key role in maintaining cleanliness to a high standard that meets our standards and delights our customers.

Your responsibilities will include

• Cleaning toilets and washrooms
• Wiping down tables and surfaces
• General cleaning duties across classrooms and communal areas
• Hoovering and mopping floors
• Ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained

Who are we looking for

• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Enhanced DBS check is required – if you do not currently hold one, you must be willing to obtain it
• Great communication skills and experience in a similar cleaning setting
• A team player providing an excellent service across the Vertas Group
