Vertas is seeking a Cleaner to join our Facilities Team at Westdale Infants. The role is 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 6:00am–8:00am, 40 weeks per year, based at NG3 6ET. You will maintain cleanliness to high standards, supporting a positive service experience for students and staff.

Ideal candidates may have cleaning experience, be able to work independently, communicate well, and be a team player across the Vertas Group. DBS checks and safeguarding commitments apply.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Great communication skills and experience in a similar cleaning setting.
• A team player providing an excellent service across the Vertas Group.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning toilets and washrooms.
• Wiping down tables and surfaces.
• General cleaning duties across classrooms and communal areas.
• Hoovering and mopping floors.
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately.
• Ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained.
• Following Health and Safety procedures at all times.

About the Role:

Based at Westdale Infants, NG3 6ET, you will be working 10 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 8:00am, 40 weeks per year. You'll play a key role in maintaining cleanliness to a high standard that meets our standards and delights our customers.

Your responsibilities will include
