Job summary

Durham Johnston Comprehensive School is recruiting a Cleaner to join our friendly cleaning team and school community. The role involves maintaining hygiene across classrooms, corridors, toilets and common areas, with deep cleaning during school holidays.

You will work 4 hours per day, mornings or afternoons, Monday to Friday. We require reliable, organized individuals with good timekeeping and the ability to work as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Excellent organisational skills are essential.
• Punctual and reliable with good time management.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum, dust, mop, wipe and scrub surfaces.
• Ensure rubbish bins are maintained and emptied.
• Clean set areas including toilets and carry out deep clean in school holidays.
• Restock consumables as required.
• Able to work as part of a team.
