Job summary

Sodexo Group is seeking a Site-Based Cleaning Operative at HMPPS Newbold Revel, Rugby (CV23 OTH). You will maintain high standards of cleanliness across the site, supporting health, hygiene and comfort for everyone on site.

This full-time role is 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 6:30 to 14:30, paying £13.11 per hour. Training is provided, uniform is supplied, and free parking is available to staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning or facilities roles is desirable but not required.
• Good customer-facing communication and attention to detail.
• Training will be provided and health & safety standards must be followed.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled cleaning tasks across the site.
• Carry out periodic deep cleaning as directed by supervisor.
• Ensure kitchens, toilets and communal areas are clean and presentable.
• Replenish stock and consumables such as toilet tissue and hand soaps.
• Bedmaking/stripping, portering and related tasks as part of site operations.
• Maintain a helpful, approachable attitude and work as part of a team.

We are seeking a dedicated Site-Based Cleaning Operative to join our team at HMPPS Newbold Revel , Rugby, CV23 OTH

In this role, you'll play a key part in maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the site. Your efforts will directly contribute to the health, hygiene, and comfort of the everyone at site.

What you'll do:

• Focus on the details and complete a list of scheduled cleaning tasks


• Periodic deep cleaning of certain areas, instructed by supervisor


• Ensure all areas, including kitchens, toilets, communal areas are cleaned and are presentable


• Replenishing stock and consumables such as toilet tissue and hand soaps


• Cleaning, bedmaking/stripping, portering, some experience in similar environment desirable but not essential


• This role requires you to have an approachableattitude

What you bring:

• Previous experience in a similar role, with knowledge of cleaning solutions and their uses is desirable, but not essential- our great training will ensure you are fully trained in all areas of health and safety!

• Can work at a fast pace and adapt to change when needed


• Be a team player and take instruction
