Job summary

St Catherine's CofE Primary School is seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our busy school environment. The role runs 12.5 hours per week, all year round, at SCP 3 with actual salary £8,653.37.

Duties include general cleaning, washroom upkeep, waste disposal and reporting repairs, while complying with Health & Safety and COSHH requirements. The post offers the chance to contribute to a faith-based community where children’s learning is supported by a clean, safe and welcoming environment.

YOUR MAIN DUTIES WOULD BE:

To provide a cleaning service within the school premises

1. Perform commercial cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising designated areas.
2. Empty bins and dispose of waste properly.
3. Clean washrooms and restock supplies as needed.
4. Report any damages or repairs to management promptly.
5. Adhere to health and safety protocols at all times.
