Job summary

Alfred H Knight is seeking a proactive Cleaner to join our Facilities team at our Head Office in Prescot. You will help keep our offices, canteens and laboratories safe, hygienic and well maintained.

Responsibilities include general cleaning, glass washing, and supporting the daily operations with a meticulous approach and strict COSHH adherence. Flexibility to cover shifts across North-West sites is expected.

In this essential role, you will be a vital cog in our daily operations—keeping our modern offices, canteens, and specialist laboratories running safely and hygienically. From general cleaning and glass washing to maintaining lab PPE, your work directly supports our teams and creates a healthier, happier working environment.

Essential

• High degree of self-motivation and the ability to manage time and tasks effectively.
• Meticulous approach to work to ensure high cleaning standards across offices and laboratories.
• Fundamental understanding and practical application of COSHH regulations.
• Flexibility and willingness to adapt to varying demands, shifts, and occasional rotation across North-West sites to cover absence.

Required Competencies

• Strict commitment to safety, COSHH, and health and safety policies.

Required Work Experience

• Previous cleaning experience across diverse business environments, including offices and laboratories.

Required Qualifications

• UK Driving Licence (Desirable).
