Job summary

Alfred H Knight in Liverpool is seeking a Sample Preparation Technician to join our laboratory team. You will execute sample preparation methods with a high level of accuracy and precision, handling a range of samples and commodities sent for chemical analysis.

The role supports the Sample Preparation Department in treating incoming client materials before laboratory analysis, with a view to maintaining quality and timely processing.

WHAT IS ON OFFER

Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for a Sample Preparation Technician to join our team here in Liverpool, UK.

Reporting directly to the Sample Preparation Departmental Manager, you will be responsible for executing sample preparation methods with a high level of accuracy and precision. This role involves working on a variety of samples and commodities sent to the laboratory for chemical analysis.

The Sample Preparation Department plays a vital role in supporting AHKI’s overall laboratory services. The team is responsible for treating and preparing incoming client materials, as necessary, before dividing them ready for laboratory analysis.

Work Experience

• Laboratory experience is desirable but not essential.

Required Qualifications

• Grade A - C in GCSE English and Mathematics.

2x shift patterns available:

• 6:00am - 2:00pm
• 11:00am - 7:00pm
