Job summary

Marfleet Primary Academy is seeking a reliable cleaner to join our school team in Hull. The role covers 16 hours per week during term time, with two additional weeks during school holidays, focusing on classrooms, corridors and facilities.

A supportive training program is provided. You will work well within a team, communicate effectively with the school community and maintain high standards of cleanliness across the building.

Qualifications

• Teamwork within a school setting and ability to collaborate with colleagues.
• Clear communication with all members of the school community.
• Excellent timekeeping and reliability; full training provided if needed.

Responsibilities

• Emptying waste bins.
• Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors.
• Cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms.
• Wiping down and dusting furniture.
• Maintaining the office/reception area.

Salary: £13.28 per hour

Some responsibilities may include, but are not limited to;

Job requirements

• To be able to work well within a team
• The ability to communicate well with everyone in the school community
• Excellent time keeping skills and been a reliable member of the team
• Experience would be beneficial however it is not essential as full training and support will be provided to the successful candidate
