Job summary

St Michael’s CE Primary School, Leigh, is seeking a reliable cleaner to join our friendly team. The role involves maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors, with a 20-hour week during term time (40 weeks per year).

The successful candidate will work 4 hours daily, Monday to Friday, outside of school hours, starting January 2027, with a permanent contract and the closing date is 30 October 2026.

The Governors of St Michael’s CE Primary School are looking to appoint a reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic cleaner to join our friendly and caring school team. The successful candidate will play an important role in helping us maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our children, staff and visitors. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of maintaining high standards throughout the school.
