Job summary

Provide Education & Teachers UK is seeking a School Cleaner to join partnered schools in Mansfield and surrounding areas on a temporary ongoing basis.

You will be responsible for a range of cleaning tasks to keep classrooms, offices and facilities clean, safe and welcoming for pupils and staff. Flexible full-time or part-time hours are available, with opportunities for on-site parking and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS on the updated service or willingness to pay for one.
• Previous cleaning experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment desirable.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize classrooms, offices, corridors and school areas.
• Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum floors as required.
• Disinfect washrooms and replenish supplies such as soap and toilet paper.
• Maintain high cleanliness standards in washroom facilities.
• Empty waste bins and recyclable materials appropriately.
• Clean windows, mirrors and other surfaces with appropriate products.
• Assist with periodic tasks like deep cleaning carpets and polishing floors.

We are currently seeking Cleaners to work at partnered schools in the Mansfield and surrounding local area on a temporary ongoing basis.

As a School Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the school facilities. This position involves a range of cleaning duties to ensure a welcoming and safe environment for all members of the school community.

Duties include:

• Clean and sanitize classrooms, offices, corridors, and other school areas.
• Dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors as required.
• Clean and disinfect washrooms and replenish supplies (e.g., soap, toilet paper).
• Ensure washroom facilities are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.
• Empty and dispose of waste bins and recyclable materials.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other surfaces using appropriate cleaning agents.
• Assist with periodic cleaning tasks such as deep cleaning of carpets and floor polishing.

The successful candidates will:

• Previous experience in cleaning, preferably in a school or commercial environment, is advantageous but not essential.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment is desirable.
• Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to cleaning tasks.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Flexible working hours, full time / part time hours available.

Typical Working hours:

• Monday - Friday 15:30pm - 17:30pm
• Or
• Monday - Friday 05:00am - 7:00am
