Job summary

Hamilton Mayday is seeking a Temporary School Cleaner to join our facilities team. You will help maintain a clean and safe school environment. Location: school environment.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 3:15pm–6:15pm (15 hours per week). Contract: Temporary. Duties include cleaning classrooms, corridors and toilets, emptying bins, replenishing consumables, vacuuming, mopping and dusting to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS (EDBS) on the Update Service is essential.
• Previous cleaning experience preferred, ideally within a school, educational, or commercial setting.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
• High standards of cleanliness and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning classrooms, corridors, toilets, and communal areas.
• Emptying bins and replenishing consumables.
• Vacuuming, mopping, and dusting.
• Ensuring all areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
