Teaching Personnel Ltd. is recruiting for dependable Cleaners to work on a supply basis across local schools in the East Midlands region.

You will help maintain a clean, safe environment for pupils, staff and visitors, following school cleaning schedules and COSHH guidelines. Ideal candidates have previous cleaning experience, are reliable and punctual, and are able to work independently or as part of a team.

Formación

• Previous cleaning experience in a commercial, educational, healthcare, or similar environment is desirable.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Ability to follow instructions and health and safety procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Clean classrooms, offices, corridors, staff rooms, and communal areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors as required.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with school procedures.
• Clean and sanitise toilets, washrooms, and changing facilities.
• Replenish consumables such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.
• Clean internal glass, doors, desks, furniture, and touchpoint surfaces.
• Follow designated cleaning schedules and procedures.
• Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and in line with COSHH guidelines.
• Report any maintenance issues, damage, or health and safety concerns to the Site Manager.
• Ensure all cleaning equipment is stored safely after use.
• Support with deep cleaning duties during holiday periods where required.

This position requires individuals who can work efficiently, follow cleaning schedules, and adapt quickly to different school settings while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and health and safety.
