Job summary

TeacherActive is looking for a reliable School Cleaner to support a school in S44. Your work will help keep the school clean, hygienic and ready for pupils and staff each day.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience, ideally within a school or similar setting.
• Good attention to detail and pride in their work.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Understanding of safe cleaning practices, including COSHH.
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning classrooms, corridors, toilets and communal areas.
• Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping and wiping surfaces.
• Emptying bins and replenishing hygiene supplies.
• Using cleaning products and equipment safely.
• Following the school's cleaning schedule and health and safety procedures.
