Job summary

Langley Trust in Cheltenham is seeking a reliable Cleaner for a part-time permanent role (20 hours per week). The successful candidate will help maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment for residents, with a salary of £13,298 per annum (£12.75/hour).

The role includes following a weekly/monthly cleaning routine, checking rooms and bathrooms, stocking linen, and promoting high standards in line with regulations.

• Keen eye for detail and can work independently to ensure all areas are clean, safe and welcoming.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning the Service following a weekly and monthly routine as per the Service Manager’s instructions
• To ensure the house is in good repair, clean and homely and residents are well accommodated.
• Checking empty bedrooms on a weekly basis
• Keep linen and airing cupboards well stocked and tidy
• Checking bathrooms are kept clean and hygienic daily
• Seeking to promote high standards to comply with relevant legislation and regulations
• Take part in team meetings and liaising with other members of staff, bringing to their attention any problems discovered.

In this permanent part-time role, working 20 hours per week, you’ll play a vital part in creating a clean, safe and comfortable environment for the people we support. In return, you’ll receive a salary of £13,298 per annum (£12.75 an hour).
