• Perform deep cleans of residents' rooms and communal areas.
• Support kitchen with washing/cleaning in the evenings.
• Contribute as part of a team and follow company policies.

We are a family run business with a number of Nursing and Residential Care Homes that have been caring and nursing for people in Gloucestershire for over 30 years.

Responsibilities

• To maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in the home;
• To implement safe working procedures and practices in accordance with Health & Safety legislation and the COSHH policy and procedures;
• To routinely clean rooms including furniture fittings, fabric, carpets and equipment as per the daily cleaning schedule;
• To clean sanitary and other equipment, with attention to the guidelines for the control of germs and infestation;
• To deal with refuse and dispose of it in the correct manner;
• To ensure safe operation and maintenance, as needed, of all equipment;
• To undertake deep cleans of all areas including residents’ rooms and communal areas;
• To support the kitchen with washing and cleaning in the evening;
• To undertake other duties, as may be necessary from time-to-time;
• To communicate effectively and professionally with residents, colleagues and visitors;
• To work as part of a team supporting others;
• To work effectively within policies, procedures, aims, objectives and philosophy of the company.
