Ashfield is situated in the small working town of Otley, with easy access to the historic market town, Chevin Forest Park, and the River Wharfe, providing excellent opportunities for outdoor learning. Our school boasts spacious grounds, including wilder areas and a pond, ideal for activities in art, drama, science, and geography. Our older pupils participate actively in school life through roles such as school counsellors, eco-committee members, librarians, Mind Mate ambassadors, sports leaders, and digital leaders.
We have a history of collaboration with local schools and are part of a Family of Schools network and the multi-academy trust, the Collaborative Learning Trust, which fosters strong regional partnerships.
