Kirklees Council are advertising this role on behalf of The Smith Foundation.

The Smith Foundation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and adults. The successful candidate will be subject to a rigorous safer recruitment process and must adhere to a strict code of conduct. Due to continued expansion of our education department, we are looking to appoint a well-qualified, proactive, and enthusiastic teacher to join our experienced and specialist team, supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

We seek a dedicated and passionate teacher to provide engaging, tailored learning opportunities within a diverse curriculum, focusing on phonics, communication, language, vocabulary, English, and Maths. The role involves supporting students’ wellbeing, personal development, and academic progress to ensure the best outcomes for every learner.

Our pupils are encouraged to aspire beyond school through a curriculum that enhances their academic, social, and emotional development (Ofsted 2023).
