Job summary

Teaching Personnel is recruiting a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant for a specialist secondary and post-16 setting in Blackley, Manchester. You will work with pupils across KS3, KS4 and Post-16 with EHCPs, supporting learning and independence.

You will collaborate with teachers, therapists and support staff to help pupils access lessons, manage transitions and develop essential skills in a nurturing environment.

Teaching Personnel is working with a specialist secondary and post-16 setting in Blackley to recruit a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant for the new academic year.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a rewarding role where they can have a genuine impact on the educational journey of young people with additional needs. The school supports pupils with a range of learning disabilities and associated needs, providing tailored support to help every learner engage, develop independence, and achieve their individual goals.

The school caters for pupils across KS3, KS4 and Post-16, with all students holding an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). Staff work closely together to create a nurturing and structured environment where pupils feel supported, challenged, and valued.

Working alongside teachers, therapists and support staff, you will play an important part in helping pupils access learning and navigate their school day successfully.
