Job summary

Vision For Education is seeking Classroom Supervisors to work in SEN schools in the West Bromwich area. You will support teaching teams and help create an inclusive, safe learning environment for students with a range of special educational needs.

Ideal candidates will have prior experience with children and young people in SEN settings, be able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check, and enjoy a supportive, team-based work culture with excellent weekly pay and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience with children and young people in SEN settings.
• Qualifications such as Youth Work, Health and Social Care or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools are desirable but not essential.
• Strong communication and rapport-building skills with students.
• Ability to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.

Key Responsibilities

Classroom Management

• Supervise and manage the classroom in the absence of the regular teacher.

About you

• Have previous experience working with children and young people with a range of special educational needs, such as learning difficulties, autism and looked after children.
• Suitable qualifications such as Youth Work, Health and Social Care or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools are desired but not essential.
• Have strong communications skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with students
• Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
