Lift Kingswood is seeking a Cover Supervisor to support learning across the school when teachers are absent. You will deliver prepared lessons, maintain a calm classroom, and help students stay focused, ensuring learning continues smoothly.

You don't need to be a qualified teacher, but GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade 4+) are required. Strong communication and safeguarding commitment are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade 4+).
• A levels or degree are welcome but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with young people.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to work calmly under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-prepared lessons to classes across the school when a teacher is absent.
• Ensure students stay on task and follow behaviour expectations.
• Manage classroom environment to support positive behaviour and learning.
• Provide feedback to the relevant teacher about progress or issues.
