Mears Ashby Church of England Primary School in Northampton is seeking a Level 3 Classroom Assistant (EYFS) on a fixed-term basis to cover a long-term absence. The role is 32.5 hours per week across 38 weeks per year, supporting a busy pre-school setting and helping maintain continuity of learning.

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team and work with us in developing and growing our popular pre-school setting. You will be employed on a fixed term basis to cover a period of long term absence so we are looking for a confident person who can adapt quickly to our setting and routines, making an immediate impact.

Our ideal candidate will:

• Have a Level 3 qualification in Early Years - this is a mandatory requirement
• Be able to provide an environment that delivers both education and care and enhances children’s learning opportunities.
• Have a working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
• Have high expectations and be committed to raising the achievement of all children.
• Be supportive of the ethos, vision and values of the school.
• Have good communication, numeracy and literacy skills.
• Have a personal commitment to ongoing professional development.
