Hatton Academies Trust is seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant (Level 2) for Ecton Village Primary Academy. This part‑time, term‑time role supports EYFS learning and safeguarding, in a nurturing, inclusive setting.
The successful candidate will hold a DfE‑recognised Level 2 Early Years qualification (plus Level 2 English/Maths) and have experience with young children. Flexible pattern: five afternoons or two full days per week.

Please note: To meet EYFS statutory staffing requirements, applicants must hold a DfE-recognised Early Years qualification that can be counted within EYFS staff ratios and a level 2 in English. Applications from candidates without an eligible qualification cannot be considered.

This role offers an excellent degree of flexibility and would suit candidates seeking a working pattern that fits around other commitments. We are open to applications from individuals who can work either:
Five afternoons per week, or, Two full days per week
The exact working pattern will be agreed with the successful candidate and the academy to meet the needs of the provision.
Working alongside our experienced Early Years team, you will support children's learning, development and wellbeing within our EYFS environment. You will help create a nurturing, engaging and inclusive setting where every child can thrive, supporting both individual pupils and small groups in their learning and development.
A key requirement of this role is that applicants must hold a qualification that is recognised by the Department for Education as full and relevant for inclusion in EYFS staff:child ratios.
