Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting Teaching Assistants for a welcoming mainstream primary school in Builth Wells. You will support pupils across key stages, with 1:1 opportunities and help manage behaviour in a nurturing setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience working with children.
• Experience can be voluntary, school-based, or from transfer from youth work, care, coaching, etc.
• Passion for supporting children's learning and development.

• Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils.
• Help create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.

The school is looking to take on a Teaching Assistant on a full-time and part-time flexible basis, starting ASAP. The successful Teaching Assistant will be required to support pupils across all key stages, with the opportunity to provide 1:1 support where needed, assisting with classroom activities and helping to manage behaviour effectively.
