Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking Teaching Assistants for Maesteg and surrounding areas to join our team in primary schools. You will support the class teacher, assist with 1:1 and small-group activities, and help create an inclusive learning environment.

We offer flexible full-time and day-to-day supply, ongoing CPD, and a friendly consultant support system to match your availability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience working with children.
• Experience can be voluntary, school-based, or from transferable roles.
• A passion for supporting children's learning and development.

Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons.

• Help create a positive, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
