Job summary

TeacherActive is currently recruiting a Teaching Assistant in Cardiff to work on a flexible, part-time basis around university commitments. You will assist teachers with day-to-day classroom activities, support pupils with their learning and provide 1-1 support with reading where required.

We seek Enthusiastic individuals who want to gain experience in education and make a positive contribution to the school day.

Salary: £14.25 per hour

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work on a flexible, part-time basis around university or study commitments. As a Teaching Assistant, you could be helping teachers with day-to-day classroom activities, supporting pupils with their learning and providing 1-1 support with areas such as reading when required.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with, teaching or supporting children
• A genuine interest in supporting children's learning and development
• Confidence working with pupils individually and within the classroom
• A warm, patient and approachable manner
• Flexibility to work around studies while supporting different schools
• A positive attitude and willingness to get involved with classroom activities
