Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting Teaching Assistants for a welcoming mainstream primary school in Builth Wells. You will support pupils across key stages, with 1:1 opportunities and help manage behaviour in a nurturing setting.

The role offers full-time and part-time flexible hours starting ASAP, with ongoing CPD and support from dedicated consultants. A rewarding chance to make a difference in a Welsh primary classroom.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience working with children.
• Experience can be voluntary, school-based, or from transfer from youth work, care, coaching, etc.
• Passion for supporting children's learning and development.

Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
• Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils.
• Help create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
• Assist with classroom preparation, resources, and activities.
• Encourage pupil participation and promote positive behaviour.
