Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD. is partnering with a welcoming mainstream primary school in Wellingborough to recruit a Class Teacher & SENDCO. The role balances classroom teaching with SEND leadership responsibilities, 50/50, with an immediate start.

The ideal candidate holds UK QTS, has SEND experience, and is either NASENCO-qualified or willing to work toward it. This is a long-term opportunity with potential for permanence and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Hold UK QTS and experience teaching within a primary school.
• Have NASENCO qualification, or be willing to work towards it.
• Strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and EHCP processes.
• Experience working with SEND and inclusion in a primary setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate SEND provision across the school.
• Coordinate EHCPs and support plans; monitor pupil progress.
• Balance teaching duties with SEND leadership responsibilities.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, parents and external professionals.
