Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD. is assisting a welcoming mainstream primary school in Wellingborough to recruit a Class Teacher & SENDCO. The role splits 50% classroom teaching and 50% SEND leadership, with an immediate start and potential for permanence for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will coordinate SEND provision, lead EHCPs and work closely with staff, families and external professionals to raise pupil outcomes.

Qualifications

• Holds UK QTS with primary teaching experience.
• NASENCO qualification or willingness to work towards it.
• Strong understanding of SEND Code of Practice and EHCP processes.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to balance classroom teaching with SEND leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons meeting the needs of all pupils.
• Lead SEND provision across the school and coordinate SEND processes.
• Oversee EHCPs, support plans and pupil progress.
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, parents and external professionals.
• Support safeguarding, inclusion and pupil wellbeing across the school.
