Job summary

Axcis Education Recruitment are recruiting for a full-time Class Teacher to join a mainstream primary school with a dedicated SEND hub in the B34 area of Birmingham. You will plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons and work with Teaching Assistants to support pupils’ progress.

The hub currently has two classes of around 10 children, with needs including ASD and complex learning needs. QTS and experience with SEND are highly desirable.

Class Teacher – SEND Hub

Location: Birmingham, B34. Hours: Full Time, 8:00am – 3:15pm. Contract: Long Term. Axcis Education are recruiting for a full-time Class Teacher to join a mainstream primary school with a dedicated SEND hub in the B34 area of Birmingham. The school has a specialist SEND provision supporting pupils with high and complex needs. The hub currently has two classes of around 10 children, with a range of needs including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and complex learning needs. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about inclusive education and enjoys working with children who require a high level of individualised support.

You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons, while working closely with Teaching Assistants and the wider school team to ensure pupils are supported to make progress both academically and personally.

Previous experience working within a SEND hub, specialist provision or with children with complex needs would be highly desirable.

Salary / Pay Rate will be dependent on your skills and experience.
