Job summary

St Ambrose Catholic Primary School in Kidderminster is seeking a dynamic KS2 Class Teacher to cover maternity leave from January 2027. The post is fixed term and part-time (19.5 hours, 0.6 proportional).

The successful applicant will deliver high-quality teaching within the National Curriculum and contribute to the school’s Catholic ethos. You will work with supportive colleagues, build positive relationships with families, assess pupil progress, and participate in wider school life.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with QTS and proven ability to teach KS2.
• Experience delivering lessons to meet the National Curriculum and assessment procedures.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and engage families.

The Local Governing Body is seeking to appoint a dynamic and dedicated Key Stage 2 Class Teacher on a fixed term basis to cover maternity leave to inspire our learners and support the children in the teachings of the Catholic faith. The successful candidate will be passionate about teaching and learning with high expectations for pupil achievement and well-being. They will be committed to raising the children’s achievements and has good knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment procedures. We are looking for someone who is able to build strong relationships and engage successfully with all children, families and other members of the community and importantly is willing to become fully involved in the wider life of the school.
