Job description

  • Full Time, Maternity Cover
  • Fixed Term until 10 December 2027 or the return of the postholder, whichever is soonest
  • Salary Grade MPS/UPS
  • Required January 2027
  • Not suitable for ECT's

The Governors are looking to appoint a full-time Class Teacher, starting in January 2027. The ideal candidate will be committed to excellence, capable of inspiring and motivating pupils, and have high expectations for both achievement and behaviour.

  • be a good to outstanding practitioner, able to motivate children
  • be innovative, creative, forward thinking and work collaboratively within our team
  • have high expectations of children of all groups and abilities
  • engage and motivate children to learn
  • be cheerful and friendly and build positive relationships with children, staff and parents
  • be committed to children’s welfare and safeguarding
  • have a fair, positive and calm approach to ensure pupils meet high expectations of excellent behaviour
