Job summary

Tempest Resourcing Limited is seeking a Classroom Teacher (LKS2) in Carterton for maternity cover. The post is 0.6 FTE (Mon, Tue, Wed) with a salary of £34,069–£52,835 (M1–UPS3) and start date February 2027.

The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching across the curriculum, support individual learning needs, and promote an inclusive, safe and inspiring learning environment for ages 7–9.

• Working Pattern: 0.6 FTE (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday)
• Salary: 34,069 - 52,835 (M1 - UPS3)
• Start Date: February 2027

About the Role

Lower Key Stage 2 is a pivotal stage in a child's educational journey. As Classroom Teacher, you will create an engaging and inclusive learning environment where pupils aged 7-9 can develop confidence, curiosity, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.

You will deliver high-quality teaching across the curriculum, support individual learning needs, and foster a classroom culture where every child feels valued, challenged, and empowered to achieve their potential.
