Southam St James C of E Academy in England is seeking an inspirational Class Teacher for lower Key Stage 1, working Mondays and Tuesdays with occasional hours for PPA across the school to support early years and KS1 transition.

The post carries TMS 1–6 salary (£32,916–£45,352 FTE / £13,166.40–£18,140.80 actual), includes Pension Scheme eligibility, a professional development culture, and a collaborative support network. Closing date 19 October 2026; Interviews 22 October 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching lower Key Stage 1 is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Teach lower Key Stage 1 on Mondays and Tuesdays.

About the Role

The Trust is looking to appoint an inspirational and highly effective Class Teacher who is committed to supporting Southam St James C of E Academy to educational excellence and further developing the distinctive Christian character of educational provision and the school community.

The role will be in lower Key Stage 1 on Mondays and Tuesdays, with some temporary additional hours available across the school to assist with our PPA cover.

We are offering a salary of TMS 1 - 6, £32,916 - £45,352 FTE (£13,166.40 - £18,140.80 actual)
