Job summary

Southam St James CofE Academy seeks an inspirational Class Teacher for Lower Key Stage 1, primarily on Mondays and Tuesdays, with occasional extra hours for PPA cover across the school. The role focuses on educational excellence and upholding the school's Christian character.

The successful candidate will join a supportive team and contribute to ongoing professional development and school growth plans. Eligibility to join the Pension Scheme is available, with interviews in late October 2026.

• Experience teaching Lower Key Stage 1.
• Commitment to a Christian school ethos.
• Ability to work part-time across the week.

Responsibilities

• Lead Lower KS1 teaching on Mondays and Tuesdays.
• Provide PPA cover across the school as needed.

About the Role

The Trust is looking to appoint an inspirational and highly effective Class Teacher who is committed to supporting Southam St James C of E Academy to educational excellence and further developing the distinctive Christian character of educational provision and the school community.

The role will be in lower Key Stage 1 on Mondays and Tuesdays, with some temporary additional hours available across the school to assist with our PPA cover.

We are offering a salary of TMS 1 - 6, £32,916 - £45,352 FTE (£13,166.40 - £18,140.80 actual)
