Job summary

Clipston Endowed Voluntary Controlled Primary School is seeking a kind, resilient teacher who can deliver high-quality lessons and build strong relationships with pupils and parents. You will plan systematic sequences of lessons across KS1/KS2 to secure rapid progress and excellent outcomes.

The successful candidate will hold QTS, have solid KS2 curriculum knowledge, and be familiar with safeguarding and child-protection procedures, with experience guiding teaching assistants when needed.

Qualifications

  • QTS with GCSEs (or equivalent) in English, Maths and Science.
  • Quality of teaching consistently at least good.
  • Familiar with current educational developments and curriculum.
  • Solid KS2 curriculum knowledge across all subjects.
  • Teaching experience in KS1 and/or KS2.
  • Ability to work with and direct the work of Teaching Assistants.
  • Ability to assess pupils’ work robustly and accurately.
  • Understanding of safeguarding and child protection processes.

Essential
  • Qualified Teacher Status (including GCSE Grade C (orequivalent) in English, Maths and Science).
  • Quality of Teaching that is consistently at least good.
  • Familiar with current educational developments, particularly in relation to curriculum development
  • Solid understanding and curriculum knowledge in KS2across all subjects.
  • Teaching experience in KS1 and/or KS2
  • Ability to work with and direct the work of Teaching Assistants.
  • Ability to assess pupils’ work robustly andaccurately.
  • Understanding of the importance of school Safeguardingand Child Protection processes.
