Job summary

Manor Infant and Nursery School in Sunderland is seeking an ambitious class teacher with a passion for enabling children to succeed. The role involves a 3 day a week class-based responsibility in a job-share with an existing staff member.

The successful candidate will be caring, lead in English development, and be a confident teacher who works well with colleagues to drive school improvement and ensure every child feels safe, supported and empowered.

Qualifications

• A clear understanding of how young children learn.
• At least 3 years’ experience of working in Primary Education.
• The ability to work well with children, colleagues and other professionals.
• A commitment to child development and equal opportunities.
• An understanding of the law around keeping children safe (safeguarding).
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Patience and a good sense of humour.

The roleinvolves a 3 day a week class-based responsibility, in a job-share with an existingmember of staff.
