Tradewind Recruitment is assisting a friendly primary school in Kettering to recruit a Class Teacher for September 2026. The role offers either full-time or part-time morning-only hours, with a permanent position preferred and long-term supply considered.

The successful candidate will deliver National Curriculum lessons, support pupil progress, and contribute to a positive, inclusive school community with strong CPD and mentoring support from Tradewind.

Qualifications

  • QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching within a UK primary school setting.
  • Strong understanding of the Primary National Curriculum.
  • Nurturing, enthusiastic, and adaptable approach to teaching and learning.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
  • Commitment to raising pupil attainment and supporting the development of the whole child.
  • Collaborative and positive approach to working with pupils, colleagues, and families.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment where all pupils can succeed.
  • Support pupils' academic progress alongside their social and emotional development.
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of pupils across a range of abilities.
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing effective feedback to support development.
  • Promote positive behaviour, independence, confidence, and resilience.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents to achieve the best outcomes for pupils.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school through enrichment activities, trips, and events.

Location: Kettering, Northamptonshire Full-Time or Part-Time September 2026 Start Permanent or Long-Term Supply

We are working in partnership with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Kettering that is seeking an enthusiastic Class Teacher to join their team from September 2026.

The school is ideally looking for a teacher to join on a permanent basis, although long-term supply will also be considered. Both full-time and part-time morning-only options are available, making this an excellent opportunity for teachers looking for either a full teaching commitment or greater flexibility.

About You
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
