Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join a specialist educational setting in Blandford Forum from January 2027. This is a full-time opportunity within a Year 4 class, supporting pupils with additional needs through a personalised and nurturing approach.

You will be responsible for delivering a creative and accessible curriculum to a small group of primary-aged learners with a range of special educational needs.

Qualifications

  • QTS is required.
  • Experience working with SEN pupils is essential.
  • Excellent classroom management is expected.
  • Calm, resilient and proactive approach.
  • Strong understanding of inclusive teaching practices.
  • Ability to hit the ground running within an established team.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver differentiated lessons that inspire participation and progress.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils who may require additional emotional and behavioural support.
  • Monitor attainment and provide accurate assessments of learning.

Teaching Personnel is seeking an experienced and highly capable SEN Teacher to join a specialist educational setting in Blandford Forum from January 2027.

This is a full-time opportunity within a Year 4 class, supporting pupils with additional needs through a personalised and nurturing approach.

This vacancy would suit an educator who is confident stepping into a classroom and making an immediate impact.

We are looking for someone who understands how to create engaging learning experiences, adapt lessons to individual needs, and establish strong, consistent routines from day one.
