Job summary

Woodlands in Birmingham is seeking an ambitious Class Teacher to join our friendly school and deliver high-quality learning for pupils, including those with SEND. While SEND experience is advantageous, we welcome transferable skills from mainstream practitioners who are committed to making a difference in the lives of pupils.

You will plan, teach and assess groups, ensuring that planning, recording, and reporting meet complex learning, personal and social needs.

What we need

We are seeking to appoint an ambitious and highly motivated Class Teacher to join our friendly school in providing the highest quality educational experience to our learners. Whilst previous experience in SEND is advantageous, we also recognise and welcome the transferable knowledge, skills and experience that mainstream practitioners can bring to the role. We are looking for candidates who are committed to making a significant difference in the lives of pupils with special educational needs.

The core purpose of the role will be:
