Job summary

Travail Employment Group is seeking a Class C Service Driver for Doncaster. The role is permanent, 45 hours per week, with shifts from 2am-11am and 1pm-10pm.

You will collect and exchange 240ltr bins, perform manual handling, and maintain documentation and vehicle condition. A clean HGV Class C licence, CPC, tachograph card, and DBS check are required.

Qualifications

• Full, clean HGV Class C licence.
• Driver CPC and Tachograph compliance.
• DBS check required before start.

Responsibilities

• Collect and exchange 240ltr wheelie bins from customers.
• Manual handling and safe offloading at site.
• Return bins to Doncaster site and place in correct locations.
• Complete all required documentation accurately.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform checks.
• Represent the company courteously to customers.
• Operate an electronic PDA per internal system rules.

Class C Service Driver

Doncaster, Permanent

45 hours per week Monday to Friday. Shifts are 2am - 11am & 1pm - 10pm

£14.30 per hour (£33,400.00 per annum)

Our Doncaster based client is looking for Class 2 drivers to service their local customers.

Duties of a Class C Service Driver include:

• The collection and exchange of 240ltr wheelie bins from Customers' premises, containing waste.
• Manual handling
• Returning the wheelie bins to the Doncaster site and offloading the material into the correct locations.
• Completion of all required documentation.
• Ensuring the vehicle is well maintained and clean, undertaking required vehicle checks.
• To act as an ambassador on behalf of the business, ensuring that the customer is treated courteously and respectfully.
• Use an electronic PDA in accordance with internal system requirements.

To be considered for the class 2 service driver you will need:

• Hold a full, clean HGV Class C Driving licence.
• Multi-Drop experience is advantageous
• Be presentable, professional, and personable
• Demonstrate their understanding of EU Rules and WTD.
• Hold their Driver CPC.
• Hold a Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• The successful completion of a DBS check is required
