Job summary

Ignition Driver Recruitment are seeking Class 2 Drivers in Doncaster to work with a leading DIY and homeware retailer.

You will drive a Cat C Class 2 vehicle in a two-person crew, delivering to customer homes with heavy lifting. Expect around 10–20 drops daily, 06:30 starts, and potential driving assessment before shifts; DBS check on start may be required.

Qualifications

• UK Class 2 licence and at least 6 months' experience driving commercially.
• UK DCPC and Digi-tacho card held.
• UK resident with right to work and no disqualifying endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Cat C Class 2 vehicle.
• Work in a 2-person crew for home deliveries.
• Deliver products to customer homes.
• Heavy lifting of white goods, worktops, units, etc.
• Complete around 10–20 drops per day and pass a driving assessment if required.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Driving a Cat C Class 2 vehicle
• Working in a 2 Person Crew with a driver
• Delivering products to Customer Homes
• Heavy Lifting will be required (white goods, worktops, units etc)
• Around 10-20 drops per dayThis role may require you to complete a Driving Assessment before you can be allocated a shift. It is a customer facing role, so you will need to have a positive attitude and be friendly and helpful, and you must be smart and well presented at all times. You will have to complete a DBS check when you start.

About you

• Youmusthave your Class 2 Driving Licence and at least 6 monthsexperience driving commercially. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card.Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not acceptDD, TT, DR, CD, INendorsements.
• As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations and maintain your own compliance requirements.
• Youmustbe a UK resident (we are unable to assist people with VISAs or relocation) and have the relevant Right To Work documentation.
