Qualifications

• ADR qualification is essential.
• Class C or Class C+E licence required depending on role.
• Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) is essential.
• Digital tachograph card is mandatory.
• Previous experience in a similar fuel-delivery role is advantageous.
• PDP qualification is preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong numerical and logical reasoning abilities.
• Commitment to Health, Safety and Environmental standards.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products safely and efficiently, following delivery instructions and company procedures.
• Operate company vehicles and depot equipment according to SOPs.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and ensure roadworthiness.
• Load and discharge products safely, verifying product grade and volume.
• Verify customer details at delivery and ensure correct tank capacity.
• Check ullage and ensure correct dispensed volume.
• Obtain customer signatures on delivery when possible.
• Report accidents, spills, incidents and unsafe conditions immediately.
• Comply with Health, Safety and Environmental policies and legislation.
• Wear PPE and keep it in good condition.
• Attend safety meetings and participate in depot safety communications.
• Maintain a professional appearance and Certas Energy uniform.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist with queries.
• Identify opportunities for additional business and relay feedback to Line Management.
• Promote relevant sales campaigns and Planned Delivery Service when appropriate.
• Maintain knowledge of Certas Energy products and delivery precautions.
• Monitor competitor activity and potential opportunities for the business.
• Ensure IT systems are used effectively per company policies.
