Job summary

Certas Energy in Northampton is seeking a Class C/C+E tanker driver to deliver fuel products safely and efficiently across the region. You will operate company vehicles, perform daily checks and ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products safely and efficiently, following delivery instructions and SOPs.
• Operate company vehicles and depot equipment per SOPs.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and ensure roadworthiness.
• Load and discharge products safely with correct product grade and volume.
• Verify customer details and product before delivery.
• Re-check ullage and ensure correct dispensed volume.
• Obtain customer signatures where possible.
• Report accidents, spills or unsafe conditions through proper channels.
• Follow Health, Safety and Environmental policies and legislation.
• Wear PPE and maintain it in good order.
• Attend safety meetings and follow depot safety communications.
• Maintain smart appearance and Certas Energy uniform.
• Provide first-class customer service and professional interactions.
• Escalate discrepancies with delivery instructions to supervisor.
