Job summary

Certas Energy is seeking a dedicated Tanker Driver to safely deliver fuel products to customers while upholding the Certas Energy brand and safety standards. You will operate vehicles in line with procedures, perform daily checks, and ensure accurate loading, discharging and documentation for each delivery.

You will work to maintain high levels of customer service, communicate effectively with line managers, and contribute to a culture of safety and operational excellence across the nationwide

Qualifications

• Valid Class C or C+E licence is essential.
• A valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) is essential.
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card is mandatory.
• Petroleum Driver Passport (PDP) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tanker and depot equipment per procedures and legislation.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and ensure roadworthiness.
• Load and discharge products safely; verify delivery tickets and volumes.
• Verify customer details, location, product grade and required volume for each delivery.
• Re-check ullage before dispensing product and ensure correct amount delivered.
• Report spills, accidents and issues through proper channels.
• Meet delivery schedules and keep line manager informed of issues affecting deliveries.
• Provide first-class customer service through courteous, professional interactions.
• Respond to queries and escalate issues to line manager when needed.
• Build positive relationships with customers and colleagues across the business.
• Identify opportunities for additional business and report relevant feedback.
• Promote products, services and delivery campaigns where appropriate.
• Maintain smart appearance and Certas Energy uniform and PPE.
• Attend safety meetings and training to support Safety F1rst culture.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive business information.
• Take responsibility for personal development and contribute to the depot team.
