Job summary

Certas Energy is seeking a Tanker Driver to safely deliver fuel products across our UK network. You will operate tanker and depot equipment following strict procedures, conduct daily checks, and ensure accurate loading and discharge of products while maintaining exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid Class C or C+E licence required.
• Valid Driver CPC is essential.
• Digital Tachograph Card mandatory.
• Petroleum Driver Passport (PDP) preferred.
• Previous tanker/fuel industry experience is an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong numerical and logical reasoning for checking grades, volumes and delivery information.
• Strong commitment to health, safety and environmental standards.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team.
• Flexible, responsible and customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tanker and depot equipment following procedures.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and ensure roadworthiness.
• Load and discharge products safely, checking tickets and grade.
• Verify customer details, location, grade and volume before delivery.
• Re-check ullage before dispensing and ensure correct amount.
• Report spills, incidents or issues immediately through the proper channels.
• Deliver products on schedule while keeping line manager informed.
• Provide a first-class customer experience through professional interactions.
• Engage with customers and colleagues to report feedback.
• Attend safety meetings and training as part of Safety F1rst culture.
